there is a trick.check the ceramic bowls downside. the point where it stands on,it must be covered with paint.if the ceramic is open (and a bit rough) it means it'S not waterproof.water goes into the ceramic,making it heatable and blockign the Microwaves. if the ceramic stays dry,the food gets hot the bowl stays cold.
